Causes of Unbalanced Automobile Drive Shaft

The causes of drive shaft imbalance are as follows:

1. The balance block on the drive shaft falls off, causing the drive shaft to be unbalanced;

Solution: Check the balance weight on the drive shaft and replace it;

2. The drive shaft is bent or the drive shaft tube is sunken, causing the drive shaft to be unbalanced;

Solution: go to the 4S store to replace the new drive shaft;

3. The welding of the drive shaft tube and the universal joint is not correct or the drive shaft has not been tested and calibrated for dynamic balance, resulting in unbalanced drive shaft;

Solution: Go to the 4S shop to re-weld the drive shaft tube and universal joint, or perform a dynamic balance test and calibration on the drive shaft tube and universal joint;

4. The installation of the telescopic fork is misplaced, causing the universal joint forks at both ends of the transmission shaft to not be in the same plane, which does not meet the conditions of constant speed transmission, resulting in unbalanced transmission shaft;

Solution: go to the 4S store to reinstall the telescopic fork

5. The axial clearance of the universal joint cross shaft of the small transmission shaft assembly causes the unbalance of the transmission shaft;

Solution: It is recommended to go to the 4S shop to overhaul the small transmission shaft assembly universal joint cross shaft;

6. The transmission shaft slides the spline gap, resulting in the imbalance of the transmission shaft;

Solution: It is recommended to go to the 4S shop to overhaul the sliding spline of the transmission shaft;

7. The centering accuracy of the joints at both ends of the drive shaft assembly causes the drive shaft to be unbalanced;

Solution: go to the 4S shop to adjust the alignment accuracy of both ends of the drive shaft assembly;

8. The transmission shaft deforms elastically during high-speed operation, causing the transmission shaft to be unbalanced;

Solution: Replace the drive shaft with a new one;

9. When spot welding the balance piece on the transmission shaft, the process is not handled properly, resulting in the unbalance of the transmission shaft;

Solution: Go to the 4S shop to reprocess the balance sheet on the drive shaft.
