2. Too much oil is added to the main reducer of the rear axle housing, and the oil level exceeds the normal height, which will cause oil to flow out.

3. It may be that the oil seal is aging and deteriorating, and has lost its sealing function. In this case, it needs to be replaced.

What will happen if the drive shaft oil seal is damaged? How to solve?

How should we solve the problem of damage to the transmission shaft oil seal? Under normal circumstances, if the drive shaft oil seal is damaged, there is no need to remove the transmission. Simply remove the drive shaft and replace the damaged oil seal. Replace the aged and deformed oil seal, paying special attention to the installation direction of the oil seal. The side of the oil seal with the spring ring should face the side with oil. The journal is partially worn or sunken, and it is not strictly matched with the oil seal, resulting in oil leakage. The partially worn and sunken journal should be replaced or repaired. The degree of wear of the gears at the junction of the drive shaft and the gearbox should also be checked. If the gears are severely worn, the gears need to be replaced together to better solve the oil seal leakage phenomenon, that is, it is safer to replace the oil seal and gears, and fundamentally solve the oil seal leakage phenomenon.
